Tech Ed Curriculum

Welcome to my Technology Education Curriculum website. I put this site together as a way to exhibit some of the curriculum that I have developed over the past couple of years. It is my intent to become a Technology Education teacher at the middle school/ junior high level. These courses, units, and lessons are directed at that age group.

I originally designed many of the units as a student teacher for the Moscow School District #281 located in Moscow Idaho. As a student teacher I taught at both the high school and the junior high level. While teaching at the high school level I taught Computer Aided Drafting, Metals and Manufacturing, and a Construction and woodworking class. At the same time I was teaching in the afternoons at the junior high school. While teaching junior high students I taught two sections of Power, Energy, and Transportation.

I was also in charge of maintaining the equipment and tools in the labs of both schools.  While teaching I was able to have my students work with me in creating a number of new cabinets and work spaces.  I also worked to organize the facilities to better accommodate the students’ needs.

Please feel free to take a look at the curriculum that I have designed.  Each of the courses found in the navigation bar above have at least a few different units that I designed and many of the courses also have sample lesson plans that I created.  In order to open my resume, the curriculum units and lesson plans you will need a copy of Acrobat Reader.  To download a copy of Acrobat Reader, click on the link below.
